Nuevo Boceto ! #Sketch50 Some days I find it harder to take pictures of my artwork than actually drawing them. Who can relate? Have you tried – delicately – rubbing your fingers on the shadows to smooth them? (Try it on other stuff before). I’ve been thinking about you today. Just posted a sketch I’d abandoned half finished. Seeing your posts and drawings made me finish it. Thank you for that. 🙏🏻 Au revoir… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Thank you so much. Yes, I do that at times, mostly on the commissioned works. Yes, I got the notification and wanted to check but couldn’t due to a bit of busy schedule and the ongoing festivities( Ganesh Chaturthi puja). I would definitely have a look at it asap. 😇😇 LikeLike Reply No rush. So it’s Milord Ganesh celebration now? He is a very important one… 🙏🏻 LikeLiked by 1 person Yes, Lord Ganesha. A challenge to myself to—no matter what other projects I have going—create art twice a week solely to publish online. I am not allowed to judge or to comment negatively on whatever has come out….even if I feel embarrassed to publish, which at times, I do. My inner mean old judge is not allowed to even know this blog exists—it has no place in art anywhere anyway! It’s been a really fun experiment and a great teacher. Some of the pieces I thought were embarrassing and not very good actually sold! So….my takeaway is out art is not our own….it just comes through us and it’s truly not our place to silence or judge it! Sooo PLEASE, gifted Megha, keep sharing Your work!!! It’s sincerely WONDERFUL!!! 🤗❤️😊 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Haha, you know what, I was really young when I did some craft work at school and didn’t like it a lot but for some reason showed it to everyone and people actually loved it. And since then I decided no matter how I feel ” A piece of art always needs an audience”. Couldn’t agree more, our art is not our own. Period. I am so glad you liked it, thank you so much, Katy! ❤️😇 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply My pleasure! And That’s a great story!!! Cheers and Rock on!!! It’s a fun freedom, isn’t it? 💕💕💕!
